Job Description:
- Responsible for providing telephone support for customers on operation or maintenance of Alienware products.
- Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products. Applies diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct failures.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction through effective handling of customer problems.
- Perform work in accordance to standardized policies and procedures.
- Work requires strong analytical ability to resolve complex technical issues in addition to effective telephone, interpersonal and communication skills.
Person specification:
Essential Criteria
- Fluent English and German
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software/PC maintenance/ PC troubleshooting.
- Good telephone etiquette skills and able to communicate effectively over the phone.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organization and problem solving skills.
- Ability to deal professionally with irate customers.
- Ability to analyze, research, and solve highly technical, unique problems.
- Ability to multi-task and Work effectively and efficiently under time constraints
- Attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria
- 1-2 years experience in a customer service or related fields.
- Degree in Computing or relevant field or equivalent experience/knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of Gaming
- Third European language
