AlienRespawn v2.0 delivers multiple restoration options for anyone concerned about protecting their valuable data from malicious worm or virus attacks, as well as OS configuration errors, driver installation errors, system file corruption and more.
Installed standard at no extra cost on any Alienware system with Windows Vista™, AlienRespawn v2.0 features a user-friendly interface that makes recovering from hard drive errors as quick and painless as possible. The software gives you the flexibility of choosing from among three alternatives that deliver different degrees of system restoration depending on your needs.
AlienRespawn v2.0 offers the following options:
- Option 1: Microsoft® System Restore - Returns your system to previous settings by accessing system restore points that were automatically created and saved on the hard drive.
- Option 2: Advanced Recovery - Reinstalls the operating system while placing installed/saved programs and files into a backup folder.
- Option 3: Complete System Recovery - Returns your system to its clean, original settings, just like it left the Alienware factory.
For additional data protection, customers can purchase a recovery DVD featuring all three restoration options. The DVD is an ideal backup solution in case the installed AlienRespawn v2.0 software cannot be accessed due to a hard drive crash or other issue.
